Harold Berkey’s career in banking spans more than 31 years. Harold is a graduate of Orrville High School, the University of Akron, and the Graduate School of Banking at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Harold’s volunteer and community service involvement includes the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce, Wayne County Committee for Crippled Children & Adults, The Village Network, Orrville Exchange Club and Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County. Harold is a member of Orrville Christian Church and served as the 2007 & 2008 Campaign Chair for the Orrville Area United Way.
An Orrville native, Harold and his wife, Donna, have two grown sons.

Paul Bayus has 26 years of banking experience in Medina County, primarily in the Lodi area. He has filled many positions over the years. Starting as a teller and working his way up the current position of Relationship Manager. He has worked for First National Bank for the past 8 years.
He is currently the treasurer of the Lodi Railroad Museum and a current member and past president of the Lodi Area Chamber of Commerce.

John has over twenty-seven years of banking experience in various lending capacities, including business development, credit policy, community development and corporate services.
John began his career as a credit analyst in the Greater Akron Canton Region and was most recently a business banking market manager with Huntington National Bank, where he was responsible for the development and management of commercial loans.
John is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Akron. He serves on the board of University Park Development Corporation and is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs. John resides in Rootstown with his wife and three children.

Mike Filarski has 38 years of banking experience, primarily in mortgage lending. Most recently, Filarski was President of KeyBank Mortgage. Prior to his duties with Key, he was Senior Vice President for mortgage lending at Fifth Third Bank, N.E. Ohio, Senior Vice President at Second National Bank in Warren, Ohio, and President of Mortgage Banking for Signal Bank in Wooster, Ohio. Filarski began his banking career at Transohio Savings Bank, Cleveland Ohio, where he moved from management trainee to branch manager to Vice President to President and CEO.
Mr. Filarski holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio, and is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma School for Executive Development. Filarski is on the Board of Directors and a member of the finance committee of the Better Business Bureau. He is a past member of the Cleveland State University Foundation Board, Board of Trustees of Notre Dame College, and the Freddie Mac Advisory Board.
Mr. Filarski and his wife reside in Seven Hills, Ohio.

Jim Griffith has been involved with emerging technology for 30 years. He was born in Akron and moved to Wayne County with his family. He graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in electronics and went on to receive certifications in systems engineering from Novell and Microsoft. Jim has always placed a strong emphasis on finding solutions that make good business sense.
Jim’s experience began as a field engineer with Texas Instruments, where he also served as a power consultant. His technique for remote problem solving was implemented nationally within his division. For three years, he held partnership and worked in a private consulting company that operated in Ohio and Pennsylvania before moving back to Wayne County.
Jim managed the IT department for Contours in Orrville for 10 years, and for 3 years prior to coming to First National Bank, he managed IT projects in the US and Canada for Bekaert Corporation, an international steel company. Jim coordinated efforts with their IT team in Belgium.

John Hall has over 15 years of experience in sales management, customer service and banking. Most recently he was Vice President, Private Banking, with FirstMerit in Wooster, with responsibility for market development in Wayne and Holmes counties.
From 1991 to 1994 John served in the United States Army where he completed Ranger School, Airborne School, Sniper School and Air Assault School. His Quick Reaction Force Ranger unit was deployed to Panama, Cuba and Haiti. His last mission with the Rangers was in Somalia, where on October 3, 1993, he lost several friends and fellow Rangers. The mission inspired the book and movie, Black Hawk Down.
John attended Atlanta Christian College. He recently graduated from Green Consulting with the designation of Certified Wealth Advisor. He serves on area non-profit boards and committees, including Wayne County CIC, Wooster YMCA, Mainstreet Wooster, United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties, Wayne GOP, Leadership Wooster and the Wooster Church of Nazarene.
John resides in Wooster with daughters, Victoria and Alexis.

Dean Karhan has over 13 years of banking experience with First National. Prior to joining the commercial lending team as assistant vice president, Dean was the branch manager at the Cleveland and Burbank Road Offices in Wooster.
Dean has lived in Wayne County for over 24 years. He graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a major in accounting. He completed the Harry Blythe School of Banking, along with various other banking courses and seminars.
He is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Wooster and is participating in Leadership Wooster.

Paul Kubiak has over 24 years of customer service experience in consulting, manufacturing and banking. He has worked for First National Bank for the last four years. His banking career started as a commercial loan officer, and he has held several positions including vice president of client services and vice president of operations.
Paul was born in Pittsburgh and moved to Northeast Ohio in 1991. Paul has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Edinboro State College. He is a certified quality auditor as well as a program leader in problem solving and decision making.
He currently serves on the board of Goodwill Industries of Wayne and Holmes Counties and is an active Wooster Rotary member. He is currently the president of the Wooster Hockey and Skating Club. Paul has lived in Wooster for eleven years with his wife, Kimberly, and their three children, Connor, Benjamin and Maxwell.

John began his career as a credit analyst and was most recently a Vice President and Commercial Lender with FirstMerit Bank, where he was responsible for the development and management of commercial loans in Cuyahoga County.
John received his BSBA in Finance from John Carroll University. He and his wife, Heather, reside in Shaker Heights.

Bob McConnell has 40 years of banking experience, beginning with Akron’s Centran Bank in 1969. Most recently he was Vice President, The Huntington Bank (Sky Bank) in Akron, where he was responsible for the development of commercial loans.
Bob is the past president of Cascade Capital Corporation, a certified development company that provides SBA 504 and State of Ohio 166 loans throughout Summit, Medina, Portage, Wayne, Ashland and Holmes Counties. He has served the Akron Chamber of Commerce as a board member. Bob is also a volunteer for United Way and the Boy Scouts of America, Great Trail Council.
Bob received his BSBA, Finance, from the University of Akron. He and his wife, Candace, reside in Cuyahoga Falls.

Tom Poe has more than 27 years of experience in banking. For ten years he was with National City as President and CEO of Commercial Finance and before that, Tom was in National City’s Cleveland Corporate Banking division as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for the middle-market group. He has worked most recently with MidCap Business Credit as Vice President and Regional Sales Manager and with GMAC Commercial Finance as Managing Director, Structured Finance Division.
Tom has a master’s degree in business administration and finance from Baldwin Wallace College and a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing and communications from Ashland University.
He is a member of the executive board of the Boy Scouts of America, Cleveland Council. Tom is also on the board of trustees of Cleveland Vicon Corporation and of the Wesleyan Senior Living Foundation in Elyria. He resides in Rocky River with his wife and five children.

Steven Riddick has 33 years of experience in banking. He has worked for Southeast Bank and Bank One. His career started in retail lending with the past 25 years in commercial lending.
Steven was born in Ohio and has lived in the Wayne County area most of his life. He spent four years in the United States Navy and attended the Mansfield Business College for 2 years. He completed the American Bankers Association retail lending school in 1978 and the commercial lending school in 1982.
He is a past president of the Orrville Kiwanis Club and lives in Rittman with his wife, Lori.

Born in Massillon, John Shultz has more than 30 years of banking experience in the Stark and Wayne County region. For the past five years, he has held the position of vice president of commercial banking working out of the Downtown Massillon office. Previously, he worked in all areas of lending for First National Bank in Massillon.
John graduated from Ohio Northern University with a bachelor of arts degree in business administration. He has also graduated from many banking schools including the ABA National Commercial Lending Graduate School. John is currently a board member of the United Way of Greater Stark County, Massillon Area Chamber of Commerce and Massillon Development Foundation. He is also a member of the Massillon Rotary Club. He resides in the Dalton area.

Darrell Smucker’s experience consists of 28 years in a community bank setting. The majority of his experience has been in the commercial lending area, managing relationships of corporate and small business customers.
Darrell was born in Orrville and has been a lifelong resident. He graduated from the University of Akron with an associate degree in applied business and numerous banking schools. He most recently completed course requirements at the Ohio Bankers League Leadership Institute.
He is an active board member of several non-profit organizations, including the Salvation Army Orrville Service Center, and is involved in the Orrville Exchange Club.

Tom Stocksdale has 25 years of experience in Ag Lending with PNC, National City Bank and Wayne County National Bank. He also has 12 years of experience in the Farm Credit System.
Mr. Stocksdale holds a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Cornell University in New York. He is a member of the Farm Bureau, Grange, Wooster Kiwanis Club, Wayne County Ag Leaders, OSU Extension Advisory, Wayne County Ag Task Force, Wayne County Dairy Service Board, Wayne Economic and Development Council, Triway High School Athletic Booster Club, and the Wayne County Fair Board. Mr. Stocksdale was also selected as a Director at Large to the Ohio Fair Manager Association in 2010 and was elected to District 5 Director of the Ohio Fair Manager Association in 2011.
Mr. Stocksdale and his wife, Connie, reside in rural Wooster and have three children and three grandchildren.

Mark Drown has over 12 years of banking experience, primarily in mortgage lending. Mark started his banking career at First Knox National Bank as a branch manager and most recently was a Mortgage Loan Officer with Sky Bank/Huntington National Bank. Prior to his banking career, Mark was a Finance Manager/Sales for Mobile Homes of Ohio/Unibuilt of Millersburg, in Millersburg, Ohio and Southgate Homes in Anderson, Indiana.
Mark attended Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky and Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana and the American Institute of Banking. He is a past member of the Indiana Mortgage Brokers Association.
Mark and his wife, Andrea, reside in Wooster with their five children.

Jay VanSickle is a Certified Public Accountant and brings significant financial management and banking industry expertise to the position. Most recently, he worked with Crowe Chizek and Company LLC as an executive in the firm’s Financial Institutions Group. He joined Crowe in 1992 and was promoted to executive in 2003. Crowe is one of the top 10 public accounting and consulting firms in the United States.
In his previous position, Jay was responsible for managing client relationships and providing assurance services for large, mid-size and community financial institutions. Jay has extensive experience with SEC reporting and the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley processes and procedures.
Jay graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a bachelor of science in accounting.

Mark Witmer has 25 years of experience in community banking and agricultural lending. Most recently, Mr. Witmer served as Senior Vice President, Agribusiness and Community Banking since August, 2011. He was Vice President, Agribusiness and Community Banking since July 2010. Prior to joining the Bank, he had extensive experience in the Farm Credit System, including commercial and consumer lending, agribusiness development, and dealer credit. Most recently he was Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at Ag Choice Farm Credit. Prior to his duties with Farm Credit he was Senior Vice President, Sky Bank, Salineville, Ohio.
Mr. Witmer holds a B.S. in Business/Finance from Malone University in Canton, Ohio and a Masters in Agribusiness from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. He was President of the South Range Local Board of Education. Mr. Witmer is currently on the Board of the Orrville/Dalton YMCA, the Orrville Boys and Girls Club, the Wayne County Economic Development Council, and a member of the Orrville Exchange Club

Rick White has over 24 years of finance experience in various capacities, including staff auditor, field examination manager, bank operations, asset-based lending and business credit with Grant Thornton, KeyBank and National City Business Credit. Mr. White began his career as a staff auditor and most recently founded Richard Allen Associates, a lender services firm.
Mr. White holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. He is a member of National Funding Association and Commercial Finance Association, where he conducted an Inventory Appraisal Seminar for banking professionals. Mr. White resides in Medina and has two children.

Amberly has more than twelve years of banking experience with a range of responsibilities in many areas of banking, including lending, new accounts and office management.
Amberly has attended classes from numerous banking schools, and she graduated from the University of Akron. She is currently continuing her education at the University of Phoenix.
Amberly serves on the boards of several local organizations including Orrville Area United Way, Friendship Meals and the Orrville Public Library. She is a member of many organizations including Rotary, Heartland Education Committee and the Leadership Orrville Committee. She currently serves as the 2009 Campaign Chair for the Orrville Area United Way. She is a native and resident of Wayne County.

Jeffrey has more than five years of banking experience in various capacities, including mortgage loan origination, regional mortgage sales management and private banking.
Jeffrey began his banking career at Sky Bank and was most recently a mortgage loan originator with Wells Fargo in Canton. Prior to joining Sky Bank, Jeffrey owned and operated Girolamo’s Pizza, Deli and Catering for 14 years.
Jeffrey attended Walsh University. He and his four children reside in Canton.

Matt Miller has over 16 years of banking experience with First National. Matt has managed several offices and most recently has joined the Mortgage Banking Department as a Mortgage Loan Consultant. He is currently located at the Cleveland Road Office.
Matt is a life-long Wayne County resident. He graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. He has completed the Harry Blythe School of Banking, along with various other banking courses and seminars.
He dedicates time volunteering for The Wayne/Holmes United Way and The Wooster Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Cindy Wagner has 29 years of banking experience, all served in the Massillon market where she is a life long resident. Her current responsibilities with First National Bank include managing all loan operations in addition to consumer lending and credit.
She graduated from Massillon Washington High School, The Harry Blythe School of Banking, The Ohio State Academy for Financial Executives, ICBA Mortgage Lending School and The Ohio Savings and Loan Academy. She also earned the Degree of Distinction from The Institute of Financial Education.
Cindy is a member of the Massillon Chamber of Commerce Activities Committee, the BEAC, and AHEAD Foundation and has previously served on the board of the Downtown Massillon Association and Massillon Main Street.

Mr. Marzich has over sixteen years of banking experience with Huntington National Bank (FKA Sky Bank), Ohio from March 1996 to February 2012 where, most recently, he was responsible for credit/risk analysis, originating, pricing, underwriting, and closing of conventional, FHA, VA and jumbo mortgages for private banking/wealth management, commercial, and retail banking. Mr. Marzich began his banking career as a retail branch manager.
Mr. Marzich received his BS in Business Administration, Retail Marketing from the Youngstown State University in 1994. He previously served as a 2 year board member of the Jefferson, Ohio Chamber of Commerce and the Sharon, Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce. Michael also served as a member of the City of Sharon Rehabilitation loan review committee and Leadership Shenango. He is a past coordinator for Mercer County March of Dimes. Mr. Marzich and his family reside in Canfield, Ohio.

Dan Snively has over 16 years experience in the real estate business having been co-owner of West Stark Title Agency in Massillon.

Mike Stoffer is a mortgage professional with 25 years of industry experience and expertise. Most recently, he was a Senior Mortgage Consultant for Signature Mortgage Corporation. Prior to that, he was President of Stoffer Mortgage, which he also owned, for 17 years.
Mike attended Walsh University. He is a past chair of the Board of Realtors Community Service Committee and a Board Member of the Have a Heart Benefit.
